Today we continue with our annual review of the year’s news.
At the end of April 2015 we told you about a talk in Denmark, given to around 100 people by Dr Niels Christian Hvidt. We also announced the forthcoming retreat in Norway.
In May the news was dominated by the catastrophic earth quake in Nepal when around 6,000 people were killed. Fr Jacob, our friends on the radio team and in the Beth Myriam were spared to continue their work in Nepal and appealed for funds to help the thousands of people who had become homeless. We also reported on the mini-retreat in Norway.
In June 2015 you heard Vassula’s reflexion on Our Lady’s message of January 7th 2008 and how Our Mother’s prophecies and warnings are clearly seen in the world today. We also read out the letter from Pastor Jacob Tamang in Nepal encouraging our listeners to continue their prayers and support for the people of Nepal.
Also in June we reported on Vassula’s second visit to Congo where once again she was joyfully welcomed by many senior officials and between 12,000 and 15,000 enthusiastic people. Vassula’s visits to Congo have been amongst the most fruitful of all since her mission began.
In August we brought you news from Argentina where tlig volunteers work hard with adults, youth and clergy to spread the Messages in their country and through the radio.
In September we gave you news about Hildegard giving five talks on the tlig Messages in five different German cities.
In October you heard how the friends of tlig in Latvia have a dedicated tlig bus which they drive around the country and even across Europe to Garabandal on one occasion. This attracted a lot of interest in True Life in God. In New Zealand they are praying the rosary in prisons and getting the ‘Heaven is Real’ book into libraries around the country.
In November we reported on the tenth Ecumenical pilgrimage of True Life in God. This year 700 people went to Rome from 63 countries and from 15 different denominations. There were 103 priests including 6 Archbishops and 11 Bishops. The Catholic and Orthodox liturgies were a true exercise in holy unity.
Also in November we told you about some of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of tlig which took place around the world.
In December we told you about more talks on tlig given in Denmark and Germany; about Vassula’s visit to UK; how the messages are being evangelised on tv in Australia; and how the volunteers in Greece are supporting the refugees from the Middle East.
