The unity festival is sponsored by Claire and Antoine Mansour, M.D., LA County based lay leaders for unity for the past 22 years. “We welcome everyone to this festival regardless of their faith backgrounds. God is calling on all of us who are His children to bring unity to our Christian Churches through humility and love. Vassula Rydén, who received special graces to be called by Christ Himself was commanded by Christ to urge the Churches for reconciliation, peace and unity; a unity in diversity around one Altar. Above all, Christ asks for the unification of the Feast of Easter between the Catholics and the Orthodox. According to Christ’s Messages, if this is accomplished in humility and love, the Holy Spirit will lead the Churches into one, united in diversity.
One of the main goals of Vassula Ryden, founder of True Life in God, has for years been the unification of the Christian Churches and the Unity Festival will make strong plea to Church authorities to “find common ground to bring all the Churches of Jesus Christ under one umbrella” according to the desires of Christ as related in John, Chapter 17: “Let them be one as You Father are in Me and I in You so that the world will believe that You have sent Me.”
“All around the world millions of laity want the division of the Churches to end, I have spoken to them and met high ranking clergy everywhere who agree that Christian Unity is needed to fight the forces of darkness that are punishing Christians in many different ways everywhere. Christianity is under siege and unity is required to push back,” says Vassula Ryden.
In early September True Life in God brought together 116 clergy of ranks from 22 denominations during a Holy Land Pilgrimage that in total included 700 people from all over the world who also are working towards Christian Unity. During her upcoming tour of Canada and the United States, Vassula Ryden, author of the Barnes & Noble #1 bestseller Heaven is Real, But So Is Hell: An Eyewitness Account of What is to Come, will be hosted for the Christian Unity Festival by Claire and Antoine Mansour, M.D. on Sunday, November 24 at the historic Alex Theater in the Glendale suburb of Los Angeles.
Free to the public, the Festival will run from 12:00 to 6:00 pm and include speeches from TLIG supporters and clergy, music and dance entertainment and a keynote address from Vassula with theme of “Tender Father” (God the Father). This expands on a primary message from Vassula stating that “God is highly approachable and welcomes our prayers.”

during the last pilgrimage in the Holy Land, were interested in a possible TLIG
retreat in Fatima. This retreat will finally take place from January
22nd to 25th, 2014, during the week of Prayer for the Christian Unity, in
order to pray for this intention precisely. Vassula will be present.
The retreat
will start on Wednesday 22nd evening and end on Saturday 25th after lunch. Due
to the low season, we could retain a very good 4 stars Hotel, close to the
Shrine Esplanade, at a very convenient price: 200 euros per person in a double
or triple room, with 3 meals per day included. This price includes also the
hiring of translation audiphones, but you should provide your own translator
Spanish-English.
The places
available are limited and will be accorded as the payments are received. Single
rooms are initially reserved for our VIPs. There is a possibility to remain in
Fatima one or two days more, after the end of the retreat, at your own cost,
and we can negotiate a similar price if we are informed in advance.
At Lisbon
airport (at 122 km. and 1h.10mn. from Fatima) there will be transport to Fatima
for those arriving by plane. The price will be only paid by those using this
transport and will depend on the travelers number and bus size, but it will be
affordable in any case. This service will be only available on the 22nd and the
25th but those departing later can make their own arrangement with the travel
agent (better value by group). Don't forget to note down on rhe registration
form (attached) your arrival and departure details, or send them as soon as
possible so we are able to organize the necessary transport.
